Travails of a Non-Swimmer

Blah Wednesday

This is just a quick note on tonight’s gym time. I had such a blah (or “bleah” ala Charlie Brown) workout. Hump day. Arrived late and “did not” more than “did”. This one’s a log for my own reference.

Time with the Machines and Pool

  • Chest Press 4.5kg, 10x
  • Sit-up 20x
  • Leg Press 22.5 + 4.5kg, 20x
  • Torso Rotation 15kg, 40x
  • Hip Flexer 5x
  • Abdominal 5 + 4.4kg, 10x
  • Running 20min = 2.7km at 5.5-7.5km/h, slope 0.0%. I dunno, couldn’t run any more than that for some reason.
  • Pool Pretty listless for 40min: a few drills and a choppy 4 x 25m crawl, 3 x 50m backstroke
  • Lat Pulldown Unwillingly kipped. Always someone there. Why is there only one machine?
  • Low Row Willingly skipped
  • Triceps Press Skipped
  • Back Extension None tonight
  • Recumbent Exercise Bike None tonight
  • Mechanical Horse Skipped
  • Diet Trainer Skipped

Note to self: Next time, go to the gym on time so you won’t feel you have to hurry!
